A sturdy little stoneware plate with a glaze that's not quite pure white, not quite matte, not quite glossy. But with a gold rim! And it's anything but. The plates appear to have been cut after turning, and the flat cutting edge that results is gold-colored.

Preferably by hand, but it can also be washed in the dishwasher.

You want chic dishes, preferably with a gold rim. But washing them by hand is so not your thing! Tadaa: these plates are microwave-safe and dishwasher-safe. However, there's apparently a limit, so despite this cool feature, the manufacturer encourages you to try to wash them by hand as often as possible.

More of a side dish than a cake plate

The plates and serving plates in this set are a bit deep. This means this 15cm plate isn't quite flat enough for a slice of cake. A Moorkop, on the other hand, would be fine. But it's also a great side dish for a sandwich alongside your plate.
