Kurbis, tablecloth of the month for September

It took a while, but autumn is finally starting to peek around the corner. I love it; the changing of the seasons. Putting the shorts back in the back of the closet. Bringing out the sweaters again.Β

Back to the table together

Things are changing at the table, too. After a summer without structure, we are happily eating together again starting in early September. There is little that makes me happier. Of course, I am even happier when we are on vacation for hours with 20 people at the table, but sitting comfortably at home with the four of us, going over the day together. I love it. The structure, 'my own people', even the squabbling of the daughters...

A change of fare

And after the summer salads, we are now heading back toward tray bakes (oh, what an invention; that's how the entire organic vegetable box always gets used up), stews, and slow-cooked meat. With pumpkins, of course! On the table and on the tablecloth.Β

Cheerful orange

I love this design: Kurbis. The fairly calm base of many shades of green, a bit of lilac, and then plenty of cheerful orange; from the pumpkins and the berries. Nicely striking against the greenery and the stark white of the cotton.Β

Kurbis comes in many sizes

This Kurbis tablecloth from Tessitura Toscana Telerie comes in an awful lot of sizes. From a runner up to 3 meters 60, and 7 other sizes (including round) in between. There are even napkins! 4 different, matching napkins in a beautiful cotton pouch.
